How many TVs can be connected to my Valley FiberCom TV service?

You may receive up to 2 Set Top Boxes with your Valley FiberCom TV Service.

Additional STB’s (Set-Top-Boxes) are available for a minimal charge of $4.99/stream.

What is a stream?

A stream is the number of different channels being watched at one time. The stream is delivered using a set-top box, which is basically a converter box that connects to an Internet connection and to your television to make the signal watchable on your TV.

Each STB (Set-Top-Box) = 1 Stream

Can I connect additional TVs?

Each TV must have its own set-top box. We currently do not provide “mirroring” tvs as part of our service.

Do I need a special TV to receive Valley FiberCom TV?

No. Valley FiberCom provides most of our channels in HD (High-Definition), as long as it is available from the channel provider. An HD capable TV will allow for the best viewing experience, but if you have an older SD (Standard-Definition) TV, you will receive the same programming – it just may not be as clear of a picture.

We can assist you in changing some settings on your TV to assure that you are receiving the best picture possible with your customer owned equipment.

Is Valley FiberCom HDTV?

Many channels offered by Valley FiberCom TV are available in High-Definition. If the channel is available in HD, it is provided to  you in HD at no additional charge.

Do I need to purchase the Set-Top-Box from Valley FiberCom?

As part of your $19.99 monthly fee, Valley FiberCom will provide up to two STB’s per account.

This equipment is owned by Valley FiberCom.

Is there an activation and/or wiring charge for my Valley FiberCom TV service?

Valley FiberCom uses ethernet or wireless Set-Top-Boxes (STB’s) within your home. If your previous provider used coaxial cable, and you wish for your STB’s to be hardwired, our technicians will need to install new ethernet jacks.

FREE Installation is available with either a 24 month, or 36 month, service agreement, in addition to promotional credits. Please contact our business office for more information.
